It’s the afternoon of what I have dubbed “trivia Tuesday” and I’ve got nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zippo. I am usually full of useless knowledge and i have nothing witty to share.
BUT I do have some great friendly year end Christmas/Hanukkah giving and spending. Make a list. Check it twice and do not budge from your list. Stay within goals and your life will be much happier and less stressful.
For some of us ( I’m NOT THAT OLD!) the holidays were not about our family running around spending, shopping, buying, stressing over just that one more whatever. Maybe it was where I grew up in Ohio, but from Thanksgiving onwards to the end of the year we were visiting family and visiting friends, baking, decorating and having fun. No one has “fun” any more.
So make your list ( don’t forget your charities as well) and stick to it. You’ll be happier and stress-free. Remember why we give this time of year and the “Reason for the Season”.
Shameless plug: if you do happen to find yourself over your head in holiday credit card bills make an appointment with us when we do your tax return for 2017 and we’ll talk to you about spending down debit instead of building it up.
